The Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue to meet and exceed an assigned quota primarily through face-to-face contacts within his/her assigned territory. This sales professional will value sell Kewill solutions for the shipping, trade and logistics industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Contacts and visits prospective customers to determine needs.
  • Updates customers on new or improved products and services.
  • Creates and performs sales presentations to match company's products/services with identified needs.
  • Differentiates Kewill Inc. and Kewill products from the competition.
  • Builds pipelines of prospective customers in designated geographic territories through prospecting and collaborating with marketing resources to generate leads.
  • Maintains a high level of activity in the respective industries to enabling networking to generate new business.
  • Leverages internal Kewill resources to orchestrate and execute sales campaigns and strategies to secure business with prospects and existing customers.
  • Works closely with Finance, Professional Services, Marketing, and Legal to close sales transactions within the Kewill financial and legal guidelines.
  • Complies with the Kewill consultative sales processes, reporting and policies to achieve the highest productivity possible.
  • Maintains a professional level of face to face presence with assigned existing customers and new prospects within the assigned geographic territories.
  • Develops and maintains current knowledge base about Kewill’s products and services.
  • Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports via the Kewill CRM system and other tools as required.
  • Promotes Kewill as the leader in the shipping, trade and logistics industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 -10 years software sales experience with an excellent track record of selling software solutions to large accounts.
  • Experience selling supply chain management or logistics solutions.
  • Proven record of quota achievement.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully forecast potential deals and close on forecasted activity.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully build a strong pipeline of future business.
  • Successful experience working with CRM systems; experience with SalesForce.com is a plus.
  • Proven ability to understand the customers' strategic objectives and needs and leverage the appropriate Kewill resources to match those needs with a Kewill solution.
  • Ability to work with partner organizations to collaboratively secure new business.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable in interacting with all levels of an organization including senior level management.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Knowledgeable about revenue recognition guidelines for software sales.
  • Self motivated; high energy and demonstrated leadership in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.
  • Excellent understanding of business issues and goals.
  • Bachelors’ Degree or related experience preferred.
